A real dragonfly wing leaves its mark in this striking Sterling Silver charm pendant set with Rainbow Moonstone.
With its subtle luminescence, the rose cut Rainbow Moonstone is the perfect stone to compliment the dragonfly wing. (The facets and true colour of the stone are hard to capture in a photograph and can be best seen in the video).
The dragonfly is said to symbolise change, and help us adapt with change, and for that reason, are widely associated to the spirits of lost loved ones.
Rainbow moonstone is a spiritual stone and is said to strengthen our psychic intuition, encouraging us to see more clearly. It brings us balance & harmony, enhancing our creativity and helps develop our inner confidence.
To match the centre stone, a 4mm round faceted Rainbow Moonstone bead has been specially selected as one of the pendants charms. As it catches the light, it echoes the same gentle luminescence as the central stone.
The dragonfly wing itself has been printed using a real dragonfly wing. Each wing undergoes a process in which the silver and the wing are compressed under immense pressure. This pushes the wings delicate details into the surface of the metal, I then carefully hand craft each one into my jewellery designs.
The wing is gently oxidised to emphasise it’s fine detail, and then rubbed back to a matt finish. The edges and sides are polished to a high shine.
Completing the charm pendant is a tiny shell spiral - cast by hand from a real shell tip. I love to incorporate the foraged finds I've collected from my time spent in nature, and this shell tip is such a piece.

Sterling Silver Dragonfly Wing Pendant with Rainbow Moonstone
This pendant comes on a 20" oval linked belcher chain that can be adjusted to 18" using a handmade hook clasp and a 2" extension chain. The chain is tipped with another faceted 4mm Moonstone bead.
On the pendants reverse, you can see the hallmark of the London Assay Office. This mark ensures you of the metal fineness, and holds unique details on where & when the piece was made and includes my unique makers mark.
