Little Limpet Shell Pendant Handmade in Sterling Silver
A real limpet shell cast in silver and mounted on a sparkling stone set pendant bale - the perfect pendant for any beach lover.
The small limpet shell from which this piece was cast, was plucked from the beach and used to create a mould for silver clay. Once fired, silver clay becomes fine silver (.999) and I incorporate the casting into my Sterling Silver designs (.925).
The rugged texture of the limpet shell has been accentuated by gentle oxidising the shells surface, bringing the details to life.
To compliment the nautical design, the pendant bale has been set with a delicate pale blue stone, it's subtle sparking adding an elegant touch to the pendant.

Supplied on a 16" silver trace chain with a 5mm bolt ring clasp to fasten.
Set with a 2.5mm faceted Blue Zircon stone.

- Silver dip products are not recommended as they are likely to remove the decorative oxidised finish.
- Always protect your jewellery from chemicals; apply hair & beauty products before putting on your jewellery, and avoid household cleaning products when wearing your jewellery.
- Remove jewellery before bathing or swimming.
