A Cornish sea shell beautifully cast in silver presented on a stylish sterling silver satellite chain.
 
In it's dainty design with a beaded silver chain, this nautical necklace is the perfect accessory for sunny seaside days, making it an ideal gift for any beach lover.
 
Made by hand, the small spiral shell was selected from a Cornish beach and from it a mould was made.  Using silver clay, the conch style shell has been cast and hand finished to create the small but solid pendant.  
(Once fired, silver clay is classified as 'fine silver'.  Fine silver (.999) has a slightly higher silver content than sterling silver (.925)).
 
Thanks to the 3 dimensional casting, the handmade shell pendant can be worn either way around.  Additionally, you can customise your shell pendant by selecting your choice of 4 finishes:
  • Silver Matt
  • Silver Shiny
  • Oxidised Matt
  • Oxidised Shiny

    Supplied on a 16" Sterling Silver satellite chain in a choice of with a 5mm bolt ring clasp to fasten.

    Shell is made using fine silver clay with all other components, including the chain and findings are sterling silver.

    (Once fired, silver clay is classified as 'fine silver'.  Fine silver (.999) has a slightly higher silver content than sterling silver (.925)).

    This piece is not hallmarked as it falls below the legal weight for which a hallmark is required. Due to it's smooth 3Dimensional shape, I decided the hallmark could spoil the look of the piece. Discover more about the Hallmark and view my dealer's notice here.

    Wearing your jewellery regularly is the best way to avoid tarnish, but should your jewellery become tarnished, a silver polishing cloth is recommended for gentle, effective tarnish removal.

    • Carefully wipe your jewellery, taking care to not remove any intentional oxidised finish.
    • Silver dip products are not recommended as they are likely to remove the decorative oxidised finish.
    • Always protect your jewellery from chemicals; apply hair & beauty products before putting on your jewellery, and avoid household cleaning products when wearing your jewellery.
    • Remove jewellery before bathing or swimming.

    • Returns and exchanges are welcome.  Please reach out for advice within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to do so.
    • The item should be in its original, resalable condition for a full refund.
    • Return shipping fees will be at the expense of the buyer unless the item is faulty.
