A handcrafted Sterling Silver Fern pendant paired perfectly with a green sea glass.
Ferns are revered for their broad reaching, almost tropical leaves. Adorning ourselves with such beauty helps to us feel close to nature even when we can't be outside. The unfurling of the fern in Spring time brings to us a positive sense of change, and explains why they are symbolic of growth and fertility.
Crafted entirely by hand, the fern in this unique design has been pierced out from silver sheet, with every detail of the leaf filed or engraved by hand.
The stem has been shaped in silver wire and soldered neatly into position. Then stem curls backwards to form the pendants bale, for which the chain passes through.
The Cornish sea glass pebble has been set in Sterling Silver with a secret leaf motif cut into the back of it - not only does this allow light to pass through the glass, but also means your necklace looks just as great from the back.
The pendant charms are finished to a high shine front and back, with the front of the pendant gently oxidised to accentuate the engraved detail.
